Wondering if anyone makes a small roof AC, such as perhaps in the 5,000 BTU to 6,000 BTU range.
I was reading a thread on my maker specific forum about someone putting a second auxiliary unit in the bedroom of a 30 amp rig, replacing the roof vent. His primary was a 15,000BTU and he put in a 13,500 BTU. Said his amp loading running both was at the capacity of the 4,000 watt generator with nothing else running.
I got to thinking that for the purpose of just augmenting the primary AC, I'd bet a little unit would be more than enough and would greatly simplify the amp loading for such a project.
I did some searching and the best I could find was an 9,200 BTU unit, Coleman's Mach 8 CUB
Not that I have such a project on my short list....just thinking and talking around the camp fire....
