We are about to set out on our first long trip.  We have several items that take small propane cans but I'm wondering it is safe to transport them.  In the Truck?  In the Trailer?  Don't Carry Propane?

This is probably a silly question....

Thanks,
Dennis

Are you talking about the one's that are green and stand about 8" tall.?
If it is, I would carry them anyplace you want just make sure they can't just bounce around.

Thank you.  That makes all the sense in the world. Thanks for taking time to write.  That is what I'm talking about.

The little 1 lb disposable bottles (usually green) are not vented and store/safe to carry inside a vehicle or building. You probably bought them off a store shelf, right? If safe for the store, safe for you too.

The larger portable LP bottles, ala the BBQ tank, are not.
