Just bought a 2007 Gmc Savana 3500 6L to pull my 2501Ss Rockwood ultralight.  I have always had a Suburban to pull it with a 10000lb equalizer wdh
Should I keep the equalizer or is there a better match for the Savana?

If you're happy with the setup on your old tow vehicle you should be fine with the new. You might have to make a ball height or head angle adjustment but other than that let the travel fun begin.

The WD hitch has more to do with the camper than the tow vehicle (TV), so you should be fine.  HOWEVER,  as Butch said, the entire setup likely needs adjusted for the new TV.

Happy Camping!
