Wife and I have a new TT (26 foot), which we will tow with our 07 Tundra (5.7 engine) with factory towing package. Mileage on the truck is 130,000. I had it checked out at the dealer, all service has been done, and brakes are practically new. What I didn't ask to be looked at are the shock/struts, and 130,000 seems like a lot of miles on the originals. I'll probably have them replaced, so the question I have is: what to replace them with? Do I go with OEM, which I assume are towing rated, or go with struts that are more suited to long distance towing of a trailer? What do you Tundra owners have on your trucks? Or what do you wish you had?
Thanks for your help.
