We went down to the fabric store and got enough blackout curtain material to cover every window in the trailer, doors included. Then we cut the material to size and attached Velcro strips to the corners of the windows and our new shades and we were in business. We don't use them all the time, but they come in real handy when you have a street light right outside your bedroom, your neighbor leaves their outside lights on all night, or you just want it nice and dark so you can sleep, past dawn. We also found that they do a good job of keeping the Fla summer heat out of the windows, helping keep the trailer cooler. When we're not using them, we roll them up together and store them under the sofa.
