The lift up instrument panel on my 2005 Sightseer 29R will not hold down. The grip strips do not grab anymore. At times it will bounce up on bumpy roads. Has anyone experienced the same problem? Looking for solutions.  Thank you.

Yeah, those little Velcro-like things are only good for awhile before they start losing their ability to hold. You could probably cut some sticky-back Velcro strips and put them in places that would hold the panel in place. If you go that route, I'd recommend using the higher quality Velcro. It'll last longer.

Wow! You must drive on some crappy roads! I have about the same set. The Velcro on mine is gone and mine doesn't bounce around any. Do you think maybe you could have a suspension problem? I'm sure that if you go to a good RV store (like Home Depot) there's some kind of latch you could install but I still don't understand why it's bouncing.

Stickey backed Velcro does not stick very well to the dash board thats why it is screwed in.  There is an HD Velcro but the pieces lock together very well so check both types
