Hello  We are new to RVing and wondering what the best source of information is regarding rv parks/resorts that can handle a large Class A with a towed vehicle. Tx

How large?  Except for the smallest parks, most all have at least a few sites suitable for 40 ft rigs. Especially if you are looking strictly at full hook-ups sites.

Most any camping guide or website, e.g. Trailer Life/Good Sam. Woodalls, or Allstays RV (smart phone app).

There is a guide called Big Rig Best Bets, but I've not found that it has any advantages vs others. It has fewer listings and misses a lot of perfectly acceptable campgrounds.

RVparkreviews.com is another source of park info, it seems to have every park in the areas I have looked at even ones that are now closed  :( .

A couple of the newer RV park databases are Allstays.com and RVparky.com ... both offer smartphone/tablet apps that can be installed and researched while on-the-road to find someplace nearby if needed.  Those sites have their own collections of features and reviews listed that can answer questions about available sites.

The best bet is to always call ahead and ask (at any individual park), but as Gary said most parks these days are equipped to handle larger rigs and may offer pull-through sites that don't require unhooking the toad.
