I have a question about the spare tire carrier under my Puma toy Hauler.

The shaft that you turn to raise and lower the spare tire on mine has a bend in it that makes it harder to turn once the tire gets closer to it.

Should this shaft be straight or bowed?  ???

btw it looks like it has been bottomed out some and the spare pushed up and there is a slight bow to a cross strut.

Thanks

Mine isn't bowed and I doubt yours should be.

I removed my spare and it rides in the garage now. One less thing to deal with while sitting on the side of the road in the heat.

Thanks guys, I have been carrying it in the garage of my toy hauler but it always seems to be in the way.

I am putting together a sidecar on my GS so I may have to replacing the winch or remember to put it in the truck  when I get ready to travel.

Safe travels.
