Increasing cooling efficiency
« on: August 11, 2017, 11:39:41 AM »
My AC was not doing the job, even with PUGs. I came across this mod in another forum and tried it.  It worked great and looks factory installed.  I have a dometic a/c and the vent used in the mod was too deep for my unit.  I used an inspection/maintenance port with a removable insert normally used on boats (Amazon).  It works great.  The increase in air flow and cooling is amazing.  Great for quick cool down and leave it open for those really hot days.  This port works well but it is not directional like the one in the  link.  Blows straight down and you cannot sit under it without freezing.  Here is the link: Coleman/Mach AC Mods - iRV2 Forums   Hope it is of some use to others.

That is brilliant. I just sold my RV that could have benefited from that mod and the new one won't work on it.
I would like to apologize to anyone I have not yet offended. Please be patient and I will get to you shortly.
