So I just finished my install of a solar panel system - put 800 watts (8 panels) up on the roof wired into a Morningstar TriStar mppt 60amp controller with the remote meter inside the bus - And so far no sparks or smoke. ;D
Question is - When I'm hooked to 50/30 amp shore power, should i shut down the solar system via the panel and battery disconnect switches? or just leave it powered up 24/7 along with the on-board shore power inverter/charger?
Thanks
