This is new for me and I have been researching this issue for a while. I have an onan emerald genset 1. the unit that was in my 1988 Travelcraft stopped working and I couldn't figure it out, so I found a running replacement. I saw it running in person from the person I bought it from and when I got it home and in the RV she would crank but not start. I pulled it out of the RV and have tested a few things. SHe does crank, but no spark, and the fuel pump doesn't pump during normal cranking, but will if I jump it.
The Genset will show about 12.38volts at the terminals and when I crank I get about 8.5volts to the coil and to the Fuel pump.
Could it be the board?
Not sure if this is enough information to go by, but not sure where to begin.
