Hi, I am new to RVs and new to this forum!  In researching Motorhomes we are trying to decipher Model codes such as PST; PDQ; DST etc.  Have figured out a couple such as Q = 4 slides; T = Triple slides.

Is there a list of codes that covers the various manufacturers and models???

Thx, Jim

Hi Jim and welcome to The RV Forum. I'm not aware of codes that are common to all manufacturers, although the ones you listed were used by Monaco in the 2000's.

Q also can mean Queen bed, depending on the manufacturer.

Across RV makers, the codes are not universal.  There are SOME commonalities, or you can figure them out.  My trailer is a 32BHDS.  It's 32' long, BH = bunkhouse, DS = double/dual slide.  But those are Forest River's code for my model year and may not carry over to other years/manufacturers.

Very little commonality at all, and if it does exist, it's coincidental. Some manufacturers use the letters BH to designate Bunk House models, while Tiffin uses BH to designate "Bath and a Half."
