Bernalillo to Durango on Hwy 550 question

We went that way several years ago on our way to Albuquerque.  Can't remember anything significant about it.  Just another road. 
 
Make sure to top off fuel before leaving Durango.
200 miles of beautiful, sparse desert.
It gets a bit tedious.
 
it's way better than it was 10 years ago!!! smooth and easy now.  BTW, there's gas in Cuba if need be.
