The spring bars on my husky anti sway trailer hitch do not swivel (they are tight) to where they can lock in to the hitch portion on the trailer.  Please advise

Do you have the Husky Centerline TS?  The bars should be very tight near the ball and once in, take a lot of force to get them close to the perches.  Please elaborate on your question.

Yes I have the husky centerline ts. The sway bar on the drivers side came out of the guide or stay on the trailer and ripped the L pin out from the lanyard the cotter pin was fully seated and it just ripped right out of the L pin as well.

Your hitch isn't set up properly. I have the same hitch, the head isn't angled correctly. Must angle down.

Ok it must be angled down do the instructions tell you how much it must be angled?
