I have the TireMinder TM77 pressure monitoring system and am getting ready to install the transmitters the rear duals. To catch the outside tires (which are mounted with the valve stems on the inside) I added Wheelmaster 135 degree valve stem extensions which fit nicely. I do worry that the weight of the transmitter will cause the extension to move up or down which may loosen the extension on the tire valve and cause a leak. Has anyone used this setup? Any problems or successes? Appreciate your help.

I have the factory extenders from Freightliner and the Tyrminders do move them, but once they move they typically stay.  I haven't lost air, even over the winter.

mine used to be set up this way, and they did tend to spin around.
I ended up using stabilizers like these

all sorts of shapes and sizes there for different wheels

I ended up earlier this year just removing all extensions and moving the wheel simulators to my attic for storage.  I wish that I would have done that years ago!

Interesting. A stabilizer in the shape of the oval would keep everything in place. Thank you.

I hate all valve stem extenders, as they all have the possibility of leaking at some point. Get a pair of dually one piece valves and never have to worry about leaks.

Go to www.shinyrv.com.  They have a large assortment of these rubber grommets for different wheels. That's where I got the ones I use on my duallys on our Maverick.
