Have any of you bought a used unit from a rental company? What is your experience? I am asking only for first hand experiences. I could not find a thread on the subject. Thanks.

Hi Drifterider... click on the Search button at the top of this page and it'll take you to the Forum's Search engine. Type "rental" (without quotes) in the "Search for" box, then click the "Search" button beneath it. It'll take you to many previous discussions on the matter.
