Hi, I'm new to the forum, and I have a 2004 RT 190V with a Cool Cat a/c that barely works. I've spent a lot of time working on it, and have decided to replace it with a window-type a/c unit (the Cool Cat would cost substantially more to replace). I realize I'd lose the heat pump feature.

I've disconnected the Cool Cat (the 3 wires for the 110v, and the 12 pin connector). Now the the thermostat isn't getting power. I'd like to retain the thermostat to operate the propane furnace.

Is anyone aware of how to keep the thermostat working after the Cool Cat is disconnected? Thermostat is a Dometic LCD (electronic), model 3313193.

Thanks very much!
John

Leave the Uncool Cat and add the Window uint would be my advice..

I had window A/C's in my trailers. they tend to be "Smaller" (not as much cool) by the way.
