I've often wondered if leaving the switch on for my RV TV antenna would hurt anything. Many times we forget to shut it off when we're done watching TV for the night and only think about it when we want to watch TV the next day.  Would it hurt anything if it's left on the entire time we're camping?  It could be as long as a week or 2 at times.

Mine is always on, unless I specifically turn it off to receive a cable signal. The last campground we stayed at with cable was in April, so it's been on since the beginning of May.

Two answers:
The original SENSAR antennas had a problem in that they would go into self osculation and cause interference if left on all the time.. ODDS you have one of those are ZERO

The newer ones don't do that and you can leave it on all the time no problem.. I do.
