Those guys and gals do an awesome job. I helped on a "small" 5000 acre fire in West Virginia years ago, and I just couldn't imagine facing what these folks face day in and day out.
 
We are glad to hear the Lodge is saved. We have been there lots of times over the years.
Another thread here states the gorge is gone so I am glad at least the Lodge escaped.

Hopefully I-84 is not gone too as we often head east in our RV.
