How long for dometic fridge to cool

Seems like a few hours and the freezer area should start chilling down but it will take at least 24hr to cool the whole box to about 38 degrees. 
 
Allow 24 hours.  A lot depends on temp when you start, mine was at 115 degrees and took 24 hours.

Prechill everything before you put it in the refrigerator.

We turn it on the night before we want to leave and by morning it's good to go.  Might be sooner but I don't get up to check on it.
 
What doesn't work is turning it on the morning of and expecting a cold fridge/freezer by noon...learned from personal experience :-(
