We now flip the circuit breaker to stop it. Was told it was circuit board. Anyone replace a circuit board?  Having trouble finding instructions, just told it was on the unit.

When did the problem start? If it was after you inserted/removed a hose from a remote port, perhaps the switch at that port is stuck? It's always good to retrace your steps as to what you were doing or changed when a problem pops up. You may find the trouble is something that is easy to fix/replace before you go for a circuit board.

Yes it started after I removed the hose from the port.  The only thing in the port are two little silver nubs that work with the end of the hose to activate operation.  Any suggestions on what I should look for?  There is no on-off switch.

Those contacts, as you know, will turn the vac on.  Can you get to that vac connection to disconnect one wire to see if it turns the vac off?  May be a bit of who knows stuck somewhere keeping the circuit closed.

Before you "dig" into troubleshooting your system, try an online search using the model number and see if you can find a manual. There may be trouble shooting in it.
