Entry door lock problems

The entry door handle on my Suncruiser won't operate. It won't unlatch the door from the outside. The handle just feels loose.  As I'm currently in the wilds of Oregon can someone suggest an easy fix?  The door lock and deadbolt lock both operate but the handle wont unlatch the door.

Sounds like you have a similar problem to the one I had - see here for (my) details and fix.

Had the same prob and that's why I'm answering this, I just finish installing the new Tri-mark door latch today. ordered new parts from Lichtsinn.com... had parts in 8 days... very pleased.
 
Dennis & Peggy, just curious if you found the cause and the solution to your door lock/handle issue.

Sorry we're not near you (in Vegas?), or I'd swing by and offer to help.
