The Motorhome Magazine Dinghy Guide says the 2007 Escape Hybrid is towable. The original ones were not.
You might also look at the Saturn Vue Green Hybrid - also towable.

could you possibly use it's batteries to assist the MH? Like extra house batteries?
The Ford and Mercury hybrids are all towable four down either AWD or FWD, this according to Ford/Mercury websites and the owner`s manuals.
Applies to all years as well.
