No brake lights
« on: September 20, 2017, 11:54:18 AM »
I have a 2002 Fleetwood fiesta 32s on a Workhorse p30 chassis that we just bought and has no stop lamps, every thing else works, ( turn signals flashers taillights )
just no brake lights. I have checked the fuse and replaced the brake switch, still no lights. Any ideas.

Welcome to the Forum.

If the turn signals are the same bulb (1157) as the brake light/tail light is....... then you can assume the wires and bulbs are good.

and,  if you have power in and out of the brake light switch.... then that usually indicates there is a problem in the steering column switch mechanism.

they sell new switches at almost every auto parts store but you need to pull the steering wheel off.

Good luck.
