Depends on the difference in physical size if any.
And you may need a new computer.

Any tranny conversion depends on what you start from vs what you convert to, e.g. physical size, matching to the engine flywheel, suitable tranny gearing for the load and rear axle ratio, etc. Fitting one onto a Smart-For-two would probably be a challenge.
