I just saw this and thought I should post here for those that might be effected.
Apparently it in regards to Allison 2500 transmissions where the manual up/down arrows my not work.
Best I could do was get a screenshot of the letter.
Deadline for affected owners to get done N/C is end of Sept 2018

If you have the Allison 2500 transmission with the pushbutton shift pad, contact an Allison shop for info about the software update.

Freightliner Custom Chassis can advise you as to what transmission you have and the build dates that are covered by the Allison TT8045EN campaign, but they don't fix the TCM software.  Call 1-800-FTL-HELP and have the last 6 digits of your chassis VIN handy.
