Mercury Hearing Aid Batterries

I just purchased new batteries and realized after I received them that they were mercury free.  After seeing that, I went back to Amazon and found that I could get them either way for about the same price. Are they any weaker or stronger than the standard battery?
 
I just checked my recently purchased Duracell Activair hearing aid batteries, and they have both the "Hg" and "Pb" mercury and lead symbols on the package. The expiration date is in 2021, so I expect they're reasonably current production.
