I need to replace mine, was going to buy the same unit that went out but can't find it.
Any suggestions on brand to get? Hard wired or battery?
Thanks

Hi Paula,

We've used one from Kidde in the past and were happy with it. This one should be easy to install and had great reviews on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00PC5S0PA

Hope it helps.

Cheers,

Be sure it is a carbon monoxide alarm you really need and not the propane detector alarm. Propane detectors are most often hard wired, are mounted close to the floor and near the stove/kitchen area in most cases.

Got that ;) says right on the face Costar carbon monoxide alarm....was hoping to find a reasonably priced hard wired one....settled for a 10 year sealed battery one with a digital display....Thanks!
