To those who, like myself, made the mistake of buying into their park. All is not lost. Last year I decided I had had enough and quit paying the $99/yr dues and yes, I got letters from Monterey Collections. They reported me to the credit bureaus and Credit Karma verified this. Apparently not much importance is given their input, as my 3 credit scores are 812, 817, and 826. Bottom line, quit paying and don't worry about it.
