Finally received a dehumidifier so that winter won?t be so wet and moldy. Ha. I?ve been playing with it, put it on 55% for now and it?s came on a few times, dumped about a cup so far. Anyway, what percentage is best I wonder? Also will my electric bill be $1000.00. Haha?

To find cost, multiply the wattage listed on the nameplate by the amount of hours a month that it runs, then multiply that number by the rate your electric company charges you. I run a fairly large unit in the basement of our sticks and bricks, and it only costs a few dollars a month.

Thank you, what do you keep your humidity level at?
