On my last travel trailer I installed a cheap $10 temperature gauge and ran the external probe to the outside. I will be purchasing a new travel trailer and would like to get more than temperature like humidity and wind.

Has anyone installed a weather station on an RV?

I fear most weather sensors were not designed to travel 65 MPH on bumpy roads and would get damaged or worse fly off and hit a vehicle.

I velcro my outside wireless transmitter to a fairly protected area on the outside of my RV. I use industrial (strong) velcro. Leave it out there all the time except when washing the RV where I would be directly spraying the transmitter. Haven't lost it yet.
