Okay, bought the TT now I need sheets, comforters, and other "things"..  Where is the best prices online and what are must haves?
We have a queen short and bunks.  Also what the heck do you get for the couch and dining area if you wanted to make them a bed?
Any other must haves?

I just use regular size sheets and comforters and tuck them in a lot at the bottom.  Even do that with a fitted sheet on my short queen.  I use single bed sheets for the bunks for the bottom and my grandkids use comforters that are not tucked in.  It works out fine, and I have never shopped for special sized linens.

I also use a couple of down throws if I need something warmer.  These throws are also the right size to put on kids who get cold with regular comforters in the middle of the night.

I don't make a dinette into a bed, but if you are sleeping kids there, use sleeping bags.

Buying the "stuff" is fun.  I have found Amazon to be competitively priced. If you search rv supplies, you can find you didn't even know you wanted, lol.

I would not spend the money on short sheet sets, they never fit properly. Use regular sheets. A blow up mattress for tables are comfy as well if used on the floors. I'm loving the new collapsible bowls and stuff. Their light weight and take up less room.

Are the short sets too small?  The one thing I am sort of picky about is I like my sheets to fit tight.. I hate too big and loose..  Do you think regular will be okay?

The sort of ?stuff? you specifically mentioned (sheets, etc) is in my better half?s territory. I know she uses Amazon, but she also goes to Big Lots quite a bit, which I always considered them a ?flea market?type of store. But I?ve been surprised recently with some really decent stuff like you speak of, and at a decent price too. For MY kind of stuff (chocks, jacks, and other mechanical type gear) I almost always use e-trailer.com. There are other places too, and I?m not advertising for anybody. But the places I listed are where we usually check first when we need something.

I just ordered a few things on Amazon for the RV, we will be picking it up on Friday.. :)

I love Amazon too, I think I?m up to almost $200 in bonus points to use towards purchases, which is probably like saying I won $200 at the casino, after spending $800 to get it. ?

I avoid buying anything online line unless there's no choice. Buy local, or there soon won't be any brick and mortar stores left in business.

Other than Amazon, I have picked up a few great deals on ebay.  People sell their RV's then a year later clean out a closet, find some RV item that they never used, and sell it on ebay for pennies on the dollar.  To give one example the door latch mechanism on my coach was wearing out so I bought a near drop in replacement off ebay from someone selling off RV items they no longer needed, it was new in the box, though the box was very shelf worn, I paid $38 delivered, the exact same door lock sells for $112 on Amazon.

Your loss. Welcome to the real world. I do use my Amazon Prime Card locally, since I get 3-5% back on all purchases. I made $120.00 of free Amazon stuff doing it last month.

I agree with Happy, but unfortunately a lot of things I buy are no longer available locally. The trend towards big box stores is also a trend towards carrying only stuff that has high volume sales. I've also "lost" the expertise that used to be common in local stores, since usually the sales person now only knows enough to find something on the shelf -- often they've never heard of what I'm looking for. So I'm forced to go online for much of what I want.

For instance I went into a local Best Buy looking for a handheld CB radio. One of the floor staff didn't even know what that is. They carry FRS radios but not CBs. Even a simple joystick for flight simulation is no longer carried. I like to get hands on before I buy, but more and more that's not possible. And depending on user "reviews" (few of them are reviews, mostly a one or two sentence opinion) online is chancy, at best. Not only are they not necessarily trustworthy, but they often have different ways of looking at things or different needs, thus skewing the results (for me, at least).

Larry, I agree wholeheartedly. My choices for amateur radio supplies is either the sole remaining dealer in the area (45 minutes one-way) or buying stuff online. Every other local shop is gone.

Small businesses provide employment in my town, support the arts and sponsor our sports teams. I have yet to see Amazon do that.

I hope Amazon never goes away. I buy everything from them.
I fully realize it's the way of the world now and I use it a lot but it does in the long run take away local business and reduce your local choices due to closures.  Sort of the same argument against Walmart but at least they are still in the community.  What really hurts me about buying so much from Amazon is that the political views of the owner irk me to no end.

Free Amazon Stuff???  Do you mean that the $120 you got back was in the form of credits on Amazon purchases?  If I have learned anything in this life it is that NOTHING is free.  If you did not get a cash refund then it wasn't exactly 'free' but I understand your feelings.  By the way, did the Amazon Tigers the local little league team  look pretty good this season.  I have yet to see Jeff Bezos return a plug nickel to my community.  Walmart does and does it big time.  Yesterday I saw 14 carts of food go out the front door of a local Walmart and directly into a waiting bus for delivery to the local shelter.  I feel guilty everytime I buy from Amazon but it is mainly because the item is no longer available locally.  Such is the economy today.

More and more though there is no choice. I completely try and support local business but when the staff are rude, the hours are insanely inconvenient (8-3 M-F??) and the selection is minimal they make it really hard. As someone else said there is almost no one left with any expertise...so if I have to sit at my computer and research a bunch of stuff, may as well open a new tab and complete the process on amazon.

In regard to OPs question normal linens work. For other fun storage and use type stuff look at stuff aimed at use in college dorms. Most of it is on sale right now and its generally cheaper than camping stuff and serves the same purpose: save space. Thats where I got my collapsible laundry basket.

Gotta agree with Happy about the desirability of supporting local stores, but the selection at most of my local stores is dismal. Typically a few of the latest and most popular items, or maybe just the latest promotions from a couple manufacturers.  That's OK when buying commodities, but if I want a piece of equipment or a particular product because of its capabilities, I don't want to have to visit several stores to view specs or find the one I need.  And maybe hunt all over and still not find it.

Example: Several months ago I bought a new 3M under-sink water filter system from Lowes. Last week I went to Lowes to get a new cartridge, but they don't have any on the shelf. Now Lowes features Whirlpool water filters and there are only two 3M hardware kits remaining on the shelf, and no spare cartridges. So I go to Amazon, who offers me two grades of 3M cartridges and at $12 less than Lowes price (as shown on the empty shelf tag). It's tough to be local to the locals when customers get treated like that.
