New Roof/ Shelter

Hi All, we recently got a new Dicor Sealer put down on our motor home. 2 Coates  were applied so the roof looks very much like new. After many inquires and research I have decided not to purchase a cover. I live in the Northeast sonsnow/ ice is inevitable. Question: do you think it is essential or even ?worth it? to invest in some type of a car port for the motor home? I don?t want to spend crazy money. I also want to keep the newly treated roof as good as I can. Thank you in advance for your insight!

I spent about 5 years in Vermont quite a while back.

Definitely do not use a cover.  The snow and worse the ice will build up and freeze making it impossible to remove the cover till it thaws.

The carport is not a bad idea but a better idea is a trip south as far as it takes to stay warm all winter...LOL
 
Snow and ice have little effect on the roof membrane or finish. Skylights and other stuff that sticks up on the roof may be another matter, but your roof coating should not be a worry.
