Are there any resources for researching the various floor plans available especially in older used Class A's? It's hard to find what we like in a floor plan when I really don't even know what all is available. So far I have just been hitting site after site and looking at everything in my price range just to see what all is out there but is there an easier way to know what floor plans exist in older models? It would be much easier even once we find a floor plan we like to be able to search rigs with similar floor plans but I don't really know how to go about doing that.

Here's one of the best places I can think of:

Yep thanks, I have looked on that site as well but my dilemma is I am still limited to what they have available in seeing what floor plans to look at. I guess my point is more about knowing what floor plans exist in older units since there are so many makes and models. Obviously the unit would have to be on the market in order to buy it. I guess my point is this, likened to buying a used car, maybe I would like a mustang but if none of the sites I look at have a mustang for sale and I had never seen one how would I know the mustang existed and whether I might like that vehicle? But once I had seen a mustang and all the models that were produced and found one I like, I could then search for that particular make and model for sale in the market place.

The best source on the Internet for floor plans is to do a Google Image search on RV floorplans. You will find millions of them:

https://www.google.com/search?q=rv+floor+plans&rlz=1CAACAP_enUS746US746&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiZ69qExK_XAhWLSiYKHZajB54Q_AUICigB&biw=1242&bih=615

But you are doing things backwards. Finding a particular make and model to buy is a needle in the haystack event. You are looking for a particular model, close to you, in great shape and reasonably priced. Not going to happen. You should go out and shop all the local dealers and Craigslist ads and find one you like that is in your price range and in great shape. Then have it professionally inspected before you buy it. And you really cannot judge floor plans by looking at a picture. You really need to walk through the units to find the right one.

one place I saw mentioned somewhere in 'google-land' is RV Roundtable.  (Not sure if
clicking on the link will work) https://www.rvroundtable.com/  From the home page scroll down maybe a little past half way to "Brochures" and click on "continue to brochures".  They are listed by manufacturer and then can follow to different years.  It is no substitute for actually being in the motorhome but it is some help to me in my ongoing search, especially since most motorhomes are miles away.
