We are headed to Utah and Nevada in late February/early March, depending on our Mountain weather... Thinking of driving from Cedar City, Utah, West over to Cathedral Gorge State Park and then down to Valley of the Fire State Park.

Anyone driven that way, wondering how Hwy. 56 in utah, Hwy. 319 down to hwy 93. Love to look at maps. but always have to "ask" how they are for TT... we are not long, 26' but that is winter in Cedar City at that time of the year!

Thanks, everyone... looking forward to getting out of the snow and cold................ We already are in winter here!

We did that route going west in a 26? Class C in September 2004,  It was a good 2 lane highway with very little traffic.  I would do it again if going that direction.  The time of year you are traveling be sure to watch weather conditions.  I doubt much has changed since then.  Dick nvrver

We haven't taken that route but I was curious about it so checked the AAA map.  There is a Panaca Summit - about half way between the Utah state line and Panaca NV - which is over 6,700 feet so you'll need to pay attention to the weather.  Looks like an interesting route, although not much along the way.

I live on Hwy 56 west of Cedar City and have traveled that route many times with my 38.5 + towed with no problems.. Be mindful that the speed limit out of CDC on 56 is 55 MPH until well outside of town then 60..No winter problems yet and the county keeps it clear all winter.>>>Dan  ( Just reread your post and can tell you that Feb.= Mar. time frame will work,, we usually have warm weather by then.>>>D)
