Our A/C fan switch only works on low; is this a simple fix? Anything to check at the control panel b4 pulling out the A/C unit? Something simple on the unit such as a component change?

Simple fix? No, unless you mean changing the thermostat. Those tiny switches/relays in the thermostat have a nasty habit of failing and the only solution is a new thermostat.. It may work ok on the Auto position though where the air conditioner itself controls the action.

^^ Probably what Stu said ^^ or the control board is bad. Go to my website in my signature and look at my ecobee upgrade, I have a truth table about what lead goes high (+12v) on a call for high fan.
