I got some Dicor lap sealant for treating roof seams but before I could get to the roof, we found indoor winter storage for our 5W.

Can I use these (unopened) tubes 6 months from now when the 5W comes out of storage or would it be better to purchase new?

Across the bottom of the self-leveling product  is printed "501 LSW  INS-0817-0791."  Across the non-leveling product is printed "551 LSW  INS-0717-0175"

I appreciate any input.

Dicor has a 12-month shelf life from the production date. The production date is on the bottom of the tube (silver plunger) second set of letters & numbers. In your case INS-0817-0791 (AUG 2017) and INS-0717-0175 (July 2017)

In practice, the Dicor lasts for at least a couple years in an unopened tube.  They just don't want merchants to keep it on their shelves indefinitely and then have you do the same. As long as the stuff squeezes out easily once you open the tube, it will be fine.  It doesn't go bad in mysterious ways while still appearing to squeeze out and stick where you put it.
