Greetings Forum Chums
Just returned from a few days on the road to a dead water heater...turn on the switch...nothing...any ideas as where to start....I am a novice at WH repair....thought I would start at what seams to be the Electrical module and get it tested...not even a sound from the unit.

Thanks in advance!

Please post RV make and model and brand/model of water heater. Those can help with answers.
Are you referring to the AC side of the water heater? Does it work on propane? What other troubleshooting steps have you taken?

A couple of the most common culprits is low battery voltage and bad contacts at the circuit board. Remove all the wires with spade connectors and clean all the contacts. Use a pencil eraser. Then plug them back on and off 4 or 5 times to clean the internal parts you can't do with a eraser.

It is a propane unit with electronic ignition....1985 Pace Arrow...Hopefully 2 pics coming of some old placards!
