Haven't played my (4-string) plectrum banjo in well over a year. Dusted it off today to try playing our arrangement of Waggon Wheel, a (new to me) number the Delta Strummers will play in our March concert. Re-orienting my brain and re-training muscle memory, I was able to stumble through it a few times, and it sounds a lot better than when played on a ukulele. Interestingly, the banjo required only very minor re-tuning.
I don't see me taking this instrument along on the coach.
