I've installed the Winegard Trav'ler SK-1000 for Dish Network. I have the three coax cables from the SK-1000 running to a DPH42 switch, a single coax from the DPH42 to a Solo Hub and on to the Hopper 3.

The controller for the SK-1000 shows that it has locked onto all three satellites (110, 119, 129).

However, the Hopper 3 is showing 110 on port 1, 119 on port 2, and nothing on port 3. It is not seeing 129 at all.

The SK-1000 doesn't use the three feeds to lock in on the satellites. Everything is done through the control cable.

I'm not sure what channels I'll be missing without 129 working but there must be something (?). I know locals in some areas I'm likely to visit are on 129.

I don't understand how the SK-1000 control box would show 129 locked in yet not be able to have it show on the switch test.

Any thoughts on how I can fix this?

Problem solved.

One of the three coax from the dish to the DPH42 had a whisker of shield shorting it out.
This was a factory installed connector.
