Countertop extension cablr
« on: December 20, 2017, 10:37:17 AM »
Has anyone replaced the locking cable on the countertop extension on a 2007 Itasca Ellipse. Winnebago industries is no help. They suggest I take everything apart. I would like to see the routing before I dig into it.

I assume you are talking about the pull-out cabinet/counter top? I have not had to take mine apart (yet) but I think there's a couple of different locking mechanisms used. Why is Winnebago no help - did you call owner relations?

I spoke to Winne tech support and checked the diagram they provide on their web site. Both were really no help. The tech guy said I should just start taking everything apart and decide what to do. I just would like to see what had to be done ahead of time.

That's how I would approach the problem.
