Hello everyone and Happy New Year. I took my 2014 Freightliner chassis with an ISL 8.9 with 18500 miles to Plam Peter Built for oil service. They were great and did a great service. I spoke to the mechanic who did the service and he told me I was starting to get oil seepage around the engine case near the water pump area...lol..He took a picture of it and showed it to me, so it's there..He says it's not a problem now but it will eventually start to get worse making it look like a leak from the oil pan but it's not.
He says it's an inherent problem with this Cummins engine. My question is has anyone else heard of this problem?
