Best route Las Vegas to Huntington Beach

We are staying in Bolsa Chica State Park in a week, and I would like recommendations for the best path for a travel trailer. Apple Maps shows one option being I-15 to 210 to 405 while the other option is I-15 to US60, US57, US39, to US 22. My first guess is the interstate route would be the easiest mid day on Saturday. Am I right or all wet?
 
What I would do is

I-15  to the 210 west,  to CA57 south,  to CA22 west,  to Seal Beach blvd south,  to PCH,  turn left and you're there.  Saturday traffic will be fine.

avoid driving PCH through Huntington Beach on the weekend...especially with a trailer.  ( bicycles is the best way to see H.B. )
 
this week it's watch out for stingrays.  (shuffle your feet when you walk in the water)
