My b-i-l got a pm from a guy on his forum asking about renting a RV in the USA and traveling on RT 66. The guy's problem is a handicap that makes it so he has to use controls (lights, blinkers, and horn) on the steering wheel. In Italy he also has a restriction on his license for the amount of weight he can carry 750kg (1660pounds). I wondered if any of you had any suggestions about rental companies or licensing issues. My b-i-l is going to ask him for more details so hopefully I will have more details.
