It's to let the air out of the suspension system. That way, the coach sits at its lowest before starting to level, thus minimizing the amount of extension needed by the jacks. Most auto-leveling systems will do that before starting the actual leveling process.

Yes I thought so. I read in Auto Lev. Mode the suspension is dumped first. This must be to Dump the air in Manual level mode.
