I'm an RV newb

Just bought out of these badboys:

What do I need to know to be as efficient as possible living on my parent's land? I plan to get a roof solar system to reduce grid use. Even though it is four seasons, I also plan on enclosing the underneath to reduce wind freezing the pipes. What else should I be considering? I'm living in Virginia.

Thank you so much! :)

Use electric space heater as well as propane, maybe instead of propane, since you can eat a lot of propane in cold weather.  Consider adding an electric heat module to your LP gas furnace.

Insulate windows and skylights, whether for winter cold or summer heat. It can save a lot of energy.

What will you have for waste water disposal?
