I just got my Progressive HW50C installed.  I had a wrestling match with that 6 ga wire, but otherwise, not too tough!  Love the output display!!

I want to install a USB charging station like this

in the bedroom.  I plan to install it in the side of the bed frame, drop the wires straight down into the cargo bay, then into the electrical bay.  Wire it to a new 5 or 10 A fuse in the power panel.  And done.  It is 6 - 8 ft of wire.  Is it really that simple??

Yep, all you need is a hot and a neutral.

Or you could get an adaptor that plugs into the cigarette lighter and no wiring is required.

Tom,
There are no usable 12VDC ports in the FW.  All the 12V "stuff" is direct wired.  This will allow charging tablets and cell phones without using 120V outlets or when dry camping.  In fact, the bedroom has only 1 120VAC outlet near the bed where a phone could be plugged in and accessible from the bed.

Sorry Gordon, I was not thinking. You have a 5er so of course you don't have any cigarette lighter outlets. I have a 5er and there is one outlet in the bedroom but it was a sloppy install by the previous owner.

What I did...

I removed one of the reading lights (Actually both of them )From teh wall in the BR and installed a 12 volt accessory outlet in parallel.

You can also get, if I'm not mistaken, some hard wired 12 votl USB outlets that will wall mount.  A bit of trim covers the wires.
