Have a tiresafeguard tire monitor system and need to change the batteries in the button type senders. The sensor has two small phillips screws in the side of the cap that I think needs to be screwed or pulled off to get to the battery. How do I get the cap off?  Thanks

Senders are a pretty generic item.  I have an EEZRV system with senders as you describe.

Once you remove the two screws the cap may pop off on it's own.  If it doesn't a little prying with a sharp edge might do the trick.  Try to stay away from the o-ring sealing surface - pry near where the screws were.

When I change my batteries I use a dab of silicone pool lube on the o-rings.  Before I started doing that I had water get into the battery of one of my senders.
