New member, first post.
I just bought a new truck (Nissan Titan King Cab 4x4) and then just a few weeks later came to the sudden realization that a truck camper would make my fishing trips more fun than sleeping in a cold or hot tent for a week. The truck has a 1600 pound payload so I?m going to have to match the camper to the truck because I already own it.
Part of me wants to build my own, but that?s a subject for a different post. The current question is about a Travel Lite 700 that?s for sale locally. It?s 7 or 8 years old and they paid $13K new. I?m trying to figure out how much to offer if I should decide to take a chance on it. Do truck campers take a 30-40% hit as soon as they leave the lot, or is that just domestic economy cars?
