Some members of my family have been getting HomeChef at our sticks and bricks. The instructions to recycle the insulation that comes in the box say to remove the cotton from the bags and then recycle the plastic bags and throw away the cotton fiber.
I hate to throw stuff in the trash, so I wanted the wisdom of the group to answer a couple of questions.
Would it be safe and effective to re-purpose this cotton fiber as insulation in my travel trailer?
We have a 2006 Cherokee that is not rated for 4 seasons and is still chilly for 3 seasons. Am considering taking it out of commission next winter and making it better.
